  • Eynsham Hall is opening Founder Memberships to newly refurbished health and fitness facilities.  The beautiful surroundings of the Grade II Jacobean mansion, set in 3,000 acres of parklands, will uplift your spirits as soon as you enter the gates! There aren’t many fitness clubs that offer such splendid surroundings, and certainly not in Oxfordshire. Members of the new health and fitness club at Eynsham Hall will also have access to the grounds, the Gun Room bar, and first class restaurant at Eynsham Hall.   This December, you can join as founder members of the Eynsham Hall Health & Fitness Club. The facilities are being extensively refurbished prior to the opening and will offer a fully air-conditioned fitness suite, an exercise studio for classes, a fully heated indoor pool, mixed use sauna, and a floodlit outdoor tennis court.   The gym will be equipped by Cybex, one of the largest providers of fitness equipment in the world and recognised for leading the provision of equipment that is sympathetic to the user, especially for those recovering from an injury or may form conditions such as arthritis.  Underpinning the club will be the provision of outstanding one to one personalised attention and committed service delivered by an experienced and fully qualified team. Plans include a full programme of exercise and wellbeing classes, from aerobics and spinning to core stability, pilates, toning, and yoga, Tai Chi and meditation.  The club will be managed by Chris Parsons, previously manager of the leisure facilities at the Oxford Hotel.  Chris Parsons, says: “I am tremendously excited by the opportunities of managing a brand new club.” “We will offer all the facilities and classes you would expect from a modern fitness club. But much more than that, our members are joining a social as well as leisure club. We plan to run clubs within the club for a range of activities – anything from running and Nordic walking to fine wine and dining – and all based in these stunning surroundings.” The club will be open in mid December. Membership will be limited to avoid overcrowding and Founder Membership will be limited to 150 places.  Each Founder Member will be allocated a member of staff for 1:1 guidance during their initial 12 week period of membership.  The team member will design a wellbeing programme that goes far beyond a ‘gym programme’ in terms of providing founder members with a range of activities that inspire the mind as well as the body.  Founder members will benefit from a price freeze until 2012 (subject to any change in VAT after 01.01.10), and a Founder Membership bond which will allow transfer of Founder Membership status to a nominated person if you decide to leave the club.  Joining this exclusive club will be very affordable, and there is no long term contract. Annual membership fees will be a reasonable £35 a month, or £60 for a dual membership. You can reserve your Founder Membership for only £25.
