  • Have you heard of Ely Lions and Leo Clubs, but don't know anything about us?Perhaps you have heard of us but would like to find out more?If so,then we would love to meet you at our Open Evening on Wednesday 11th November 2009 from 7:30pm at The Lamb Hotel,Ely.This is an opportunity for you to come and meet members and gain an insight into the things that we have previously been involved with, and what our plans are for the future!This will be a relaxed,informal evening where you will be able to browse through Lions materials - such as our scrapbook,leaflets and Lions newsletter,"Lions Roar".District Officers Matthew Bungard and Jim Cawte will be present should anyone wish to learn more about Message In A Bottle,Medic Alert and Sight,which are some of the projects which Lions have been,and continue to be involved with.District Governor,Derek Maguire,and his wife Pam will also be present on the evening to offer an insight into being a Lion or Leo.Should you be unable to attend this,but would like to learn more about us then please contact:Tony Pleasance on 01353 777275 or e mail pleasance@aplion51.wanadoo.co.ukorDonna Cross on 01353 860874 or e mail Donna28505@aol.comWe look forward to meeting you!
