  • Dorset Tai Chi offers regular weekly Tai Chi Chuan classes in Chen Style and Yang Style in Dorset, with various centres in the Bournemouth/Poole area, including Sturminster Marshall, Wimborne/Canford, and Ferndown. We aim to place equal emphasis on the martial and the health aspects of Tai Chi.  In addition to our weekly classes, we also design and deliver corporate training programmes to help with stress management and various organisation development initiatives. Increasingly, we are helping to introduce Tai Chi and Chi Kung classes into Primary Schools where they are used not just as an aid to health and fitness, but also as a means of calming pupils to improve their behaviour and sharpen their concentration. We are contributors to the Primary Tai Chi programme. (www.primarytaichi.com) Dorset Tai Chi is a Founder Member of the Chinese Internal Arts Association, is registered with Tai Chi Union for Great Britain, and insured through the British Council for Chinese Martial Arts.
