  • The Explorer Section is for those aged between 14 and 18 years old.  The Explorer Section is run by the District and as a member of Explorer's you can attend any Explorer meeting in the district allowing you to participate in even more activities.  The Explorers are the fourth section in Scouting.   ActivitiesAs an Explorer you will be expected to develop your own units programme with assistance from leaders where required.  This gives you a great opportunity to try almost anything you can dream of - not to mention what the offer units dream up! UniformGray shirt and neckerchief. Badges/AwardsExplorers are encouraged to use their skills developed in Scouting to undertake badges which are often recognised by employers, such as the Duke of Edinburgh award.
