  • We are always on the look out for new members on stage and behind the scenes.  We need singers (who can act and/or dance); producers, stage hands; scenery artists, dressmakers, props assistants, prompts etc. We rehearse at the Methodist Church Halls on Muster Road in West Bridgford every Wednesday from 7.30pm to 9.30pm (Sept - May).  Principals and dancers are also required on some Tuesday evenings. We rehearse from Sept-Jan for a show at a theatre in Nottingham, then we rehearse from Feb-May for a more informal concert at Radcliffe on Trent.  We don't rehearse during the summer months but do meet up socially every week.The Society has a good reputation for being friendly and welcoming new members. Most members go for a drink after Wed rehearsals. We also organise a number of optional social events throughout the year including quiz nights, bowling, skittles, meals and weekends away.We ask new members to audition so we can establish vocal range but anyone is welcome to come along and observe or join in for a few weeks to see what we do before committing to anything.If you want to find out more about us or you would like to come along one Wed evening to see what we do, please give Bill a call.
