  • Now that Lincolnshire has the new World Bowls Champion, it is a good time to get into this sport. Sleaford Indoor Bowls Club has good facilities - not just for bowling, but also has its own licenced bar and snack bar.This is a busy club - with league play most mornings, afternoons and evenings. Teams play other local clubs on most weekends.
    Open daily during the winter months, this is a real opportunity to enjoy a new sport which also gives your body gentle exercise to help you keep fit. On Saturday mornings (from 10 - 12) and on Monday afternoons (from 2 to 4) Fun and Friendly Bowls drives are open to all members with one rink kept especially for newcomers (help from qualified coaches is on hand, so don't worry if you have never played before).There is also a very active Social membership, costing just £5 per year. Other regular events are held with the Monday evening whist drive being well-attended.
