  • The Neston Village website has been set up by Neston Recycling Group (NRG), with the aim of encouraging a great sense of community within Neston.NRG was formed in August 2002. Our vision is to make Neston the most environmentally friendly community in Wiltshire. We want to make it easy for people in the community to leave the next generation a positive legacy, rather than major environmental problems. We aim to do this by promoting good environmental stewardship and a sense of 'community' in Neston.We hope that every person in Neston will benefit from our activities. Already, a greater sense of community is being felt as a result of working together for the good of all. Neston is becoming a village that shows it cares about the environment and has a sense of pride, as well as conscience.To aid greater communication within Neston we have launched the Neston Village Social Network. On our Social Network site you will be able to join in with, or start, a discussion about anything related to Neston. You can let everyone know about a local event - time place etc. You can upload photo's and start a Blog.Thanks to funding from the Millenium Awards and assistance from the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust we have created the Corsham Community Area Rethink Rubbish Directory. This is your local A-Z guide about what items can be reused and recycled locally.This is a directory of all local Our future plans include supplying water butts to households in Neston and setting up a community composting scheme.
