  • Southwater Community Methodist Church (SCMC) is a young church, with evangelical Methodist roots, with people drawn from a variety of church backgrounds or none at all. We are growing, and we have a great vision to grow further still into a community based, family friendly church. We really want to share and celebrate the great news of God's love in Jesus, which is why we worship right here in our own community! We aim to serve the people of Southwater to the best of our ability in Jesus' name, and so wherever possible we try to work in partnership with other Christians in the village. We meet at 10am on Sundays in Southwater Junior School, Worthing Road, right in the centre of the village.You are welcome to park in the lay by outside the school, or in the school car park. We don't use the main school entrance - to get in, use the door into the school hall (on the right as you face the school from the car park). If you are visiting us from outside the village, Southwater is found to the south of Horsham, just off the A24. The main road through the village goes north to south, parallel to the A24, and this is the Worthing Road itself. You'll find us next to the Texaco garage, with our banner attached to the school railings!
