  • St. James's Church is a traditional Church of England Parish Church (neither "high" or "low") within the Northanger Benefice. We meet at 10.00 on Sundays throughout the year (details of services on the noticeboard in front of the Church). The first two services of the month are Mattins run by the congregation itself, the third Sunday is Parish Communion and the fourth Sunday is Family Communion. Both Communion services are taken by a priest within the Benefice. Should there by five Sundays in a month, the fifth Sunday service is at Colemore (no electricity or heating) at 18.00 during the summer or there is a Benefice Service at one of the other Churches in the Benefice. ,All are warmly welcome to attend the Sunday Service. Tony Pears (01420 588398 e-mail the96@btinternet.com).,There is a Parish Magazine - costing 50p. - which gives details of all services within the benefice.
