  • 1ST KIDSGROVE SCOUT GROUPThe 1st Kidsgrove Scout Group is a very active Group with a very experienced leadership team offering some of the very best outdoor experiences for young people aged from 6 years to 18 years.  We have instructors qualified in numurous adventurous activities such as Archery, Climbing, Kayaking to name but a few.  Every member of the Group will recieve a Scouting experience that they will remember for a lifetime.Sections meet weekly at Kidsgrove Scout Headquarters, The Avenue, Kidsgrove, Stoke-on-Trent ST7 1AQ.  Here is a list of the sections times, age ranges and meeting nights:Beaver Scouts:      Mondays 5:45pm till 6:45pm         Wednesdays 6:00pm till 7:00pm          For 6 years to 8 yearsCub Scouts:          Mondays 7:00pm till 8:30pm         Wednesdays 7:15pm till 8:45pm          For 8 years to 10 1/2 yearsScouts:                Fridays 7:00pm till 9:00pm                                                                    For 10 1/2 years to 14 yearsExplorer Scouts:    Mondays 7:15pm till 9:45pm                                                                 For 14 years to 18 yearsNetwork Scouts:     Thursdays 7:30pm till 9:00pm                                                               For 18 years to 25 years KIDSGROVE SCOUTS DRUM CORPSWe also are proud to have a leading Drum Corps run from our Headquarters.  In 2007 they were crowned Drum Corps United Kingdom Champions.  The Drum Corps is made up of Brass players, Percussionists and Dancers (known as Guard) who work together to produce an exciting and vibrant show.  They enter competitions nationwide as well as others throughout the World.  Kidsgrove Scouts Drum Corps success is continous due to its commitment to help teach and develop young people of all ages in learning how to play an instrument.  Many young people have trained with the instructors and now play in the UK's number 1 Drum Corps.  Young People wishing to join the band or enquire can attend the Kidsgrove Scout Headquarters on Tuesday nights 7:00pm to 8:30pm.Drum Corps Website: http://www.kidsgrovescouts.org For further information about the 1st Kidsgrove Scout Group contact:  Craig Johnson (Scout Leader)  07979 051501        craig@scouting.me.ukGroup Website: http://www.kidsgrovescoutgroup.btik.com
