  • STONEHAVEN HORIZON PROJECT In 2008 we aim to enter the  Beautiful Scotland (in Bloom) Competition .Although we are a new group, formed in 2004, we are very active in improving our community which , over recent years, has suffered from lack of investment due to local authority cutbacks.We have undertaken some major projects , such as the Baywalk decking and the Wave Garden and work weekly on small areas of improvement like litter picks in the winter and summer bedding and hanging baskets in the summer.We are a friendly group of "doers" and meet monthly at the Resource Centre in Lowood Road on the third moinday of each month. Please contact us if you feel you have anything to offer. No expertise needed just a good positive attitude and the enjoyment of being out of doors and working for your community with a group of people who don't mind getting their hands dirty and enjoy fun and chat too.
