  • This notice is to advice everyone that Newport Carnival is on June 14th 2008, the annual 10k run precedes the carnival @ 11:50 and the procession closely follows it ending at Shukers field where there will be an abundance of entertainment.Entries are invited for the procession from all walks of life!  Anything goes from walking entries to vehicular entries, please contact me on any of the means above (email or telephone).This year we have a Samba Band , Steel band, a family of gorrillas!  Many clowns and stilt walkers, a very different balloon modeller,  a contortionist, a Charlie Cahplin lookalike - the ever popular baby show, many dance acts and much much more.  Hope to see you there! The Carnival Committee!
