  • The Pemberton Community Association is a group of volunteers who give their time freely for the good of the community. The Association is based in the Woodford Centre on Woodford Street, Pemberton and has a wide range of literature ranging from Crime reduction, Bullying and Racism to helping the Elderly and Young People. The committee members work tirelessly for the good of the local community, and have recently began raising funds for activities for children and young people. We also hold events for adults, which are also fund raising events. The Association is coming into it's 6th Year and will again be holding several events throughout 2009. If you live in or close to Pemberton, and would like to join us, please call the office on 01942 225800 or out of hours mobile on 07925 867070. we work with agencies such as local Police, asbo unit, Councillors and Area Housing. We have also helped residents from outside of Pemberton, including Orrell. We meet on the LAST Wednesday of each month (Except December) and the meeting lasts for around an hour. 7pm till no later than 8.15pm.  NEWSLETTER:  Our newsletter is distributed to over 1700 homes, plus churches, community centres, shops etc. If you would like to advertise in our newsletter, please send your details and copy of advert to pembassoc@mail.com FAO Dave. Advertisements start from £10 for a small advert to £25 for half a page.  ROOM HIRE: We also hire our main office for groups, meetings etc, with refreshments provided.
