  • Cardinal Community Enterprise Project is the 'official' name of the whole project. Once funding has been secured we are to develop the project further to incorporate a Social Enterprise, which will include a salon, nail bar, aromatherapy room, and a community cafe. Our young people will be able to do their training and gain qualifications. This will be opened up for the community to do any training too, if they so wish.We are opening the community cafe to help bring the community together a little more and help understand each others issues and lives, and to interact more. Initially we started as a youth club and have been running now for 5 yrs. We open 3 evenings a week, Mon, Wed, & Fri. From 4.30pm-6.30pm for 8-12yr olds, and 6.30pm-8.30pm for 13-19yr olds. We endeavour to include as many young people as possible in our projects and are at the moment encouraging many of our young people to become young leaders, they can be accreditted for their involvement in young leadership. They will be getting training on sex education and delivering it to other young people, and many other 'issues' that affect young people, this will be of benefit to many young people.
