  • The Army Cadet Force is a well established organisation that has been running for over 50 years for those aged between 13 to 18 years of age.We have young people attend on Monday and Thursday evenings between 7pm and 9pm to take part in a variety of exercises aimed to give them an insight into map reading, orinteering skills, shooting, fieldcraft including survival weekends, foot drill and dress organisation as well as history and leadership skills.  By taking part in the Duje of Edinburgh Awards and the BTEC First Diploma in Public Services, the youth of our area can gain additional recognition and qualifications to take into the normal work place.Although some of our cadets choose to go into the army, they are not necessarily asked or recruited just because they attend.  This is their choice, but we are available for those who have questions even if they just join to make friends.Anyone can join and we look forward to hearing from anyone wanting to participate in our activities or would like us to assist them in anyway.  Please see the notices section for pictures of some of our cadets and adults training experiences.
