  •   ABOUT FERRYFIELD PLAYGROUP Ferryfield Playgroup has been established as a Playgroup in Cupar since September 1967.  We meet, in rooms let exclusively to us, weekday mornings from 09.15 - 11.45 and on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, we have a Lunch Club which runs from 11.45 until 2.30pm.Ferryfield is registered with the Care Commission and is a Partnership Provider with Fife Council. Our facility is monitored and inspected regularly to ensure the highest standards.We are a pre-school Playgroup and can accommodate children from age 2 years 6 months to 5 years. As a Fife Council Partnership Provider, we offer funded places for eligible children.We have good accommodation comprising two playrooms - one of which is for physical play , toilets and kitchen facilities. We have a secure entry system and telephone on the premises. Access to the premises is at ground level and there is ample parking for parents dropping off and picking up their children.We have 2 members of staff in attendance each session. Adult:child ratios are maintained at all times with the support of parents on rota duty. Our staff have a wealth of knowledge and experience and have, or are working towards, relevant qualifications.A parents' Committee, elected at the AGM each June, is responsible for the day to day running of the group, fundraising etc. and they employ an Admin. Manager who deals with most of the paperwork involved. She also has responsibility for membership/allocating places and staff support & supervision.Activities are planned in line with Curriculum Guidelines for 3 - 5 year olds. We have the written Policies required for Registration and these are reviewed regularly. All group policies are available for parent/carers to read or obtain copies.
