The group was founded over 30 years ago (and several founding members are still active!) and is based in Kedington, near Haverhill, Suffolk, close to the Suffolk-Cambridgeshire and Suffolk-Essex borders. Its name is derived from the alternative name for Kedington: Ketton. Our venue is the Kedington Community Association (KCA) building, the Kedington Community Centre (KCC) on Arms Lane. We have several dozens of members, from thespians to technical people and handy-men; some are even all of the above! Members ages range from 7 to over 75 years of age.Our current schedule is as follows:-Pantomime for all ages - rehearsals August onwards - performances end of November beginning DecemberProduction with mainly adult cast - rehearsals January onwards - performance just before Easter.Productions for all ages - rehearsals January onwards - performance June/JulyOther productions may be considered depending on the availability of the rehearsal and performance space and of the technical back-up team. The group meets on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from about 7:30 pm. There is a committee that meets 10 times a year and a general meeting, to which all Ketton Players members are invited, is held the Tuesday after each production. If you are interested in joining - either on stage or behind the scenes please get in touch.
