  • Walsall Road Allotments in Perry Barr is a very friendly place where both experienced gardeners and beginners grow a wide range of produce.  Help is always on hand for those who need it. We hold competitions each year which are always well supported, including the Best Scarecrow, the longest Snake, the heaviest Pumpkin, the Best Plot, Best Newcomer's Plot and many more.  There are photos of these on our website.  We have featured in programmes like Gardeners' World and Gardeners' Question Time and also on Radio WM and the BBC website.  Our local newspaper frequently has articles and photos about us.  We are a thriving, multi-cultural community where many plot-holders form lasting friendships.  We currently have a waiting-list for plots but visitors are welcome on Sunday mornings between 10 - 12.
