  • The Matlock & District Table Tennis League has been established since 1935 and recently celebrated their 70th anniversary.The guest of honour was Mr. Todd Dakin who was the inaugural secretary in 1935.The League now operates with two divisions of ten teams all based within 15 miles radius of the town.The Cromford Community Centre and The Whitworth Centre at Darley Dale provide a home base for the majority of the teams with other venues being Youlgreave Village Hall, Matlock Fire Station and Chesterfield Cylinders Sports Pavilion.L.A.
