  •   P.L.A.Y. is a voluntary organisation tasked by Woodcote Parish Council to raise funds to replace the recreation and leisure facilities in Woodcote.  During the past two years we have secured a number of grants and organised various fund-raising events including an extremely successful circus on the village recreation ground.The facilities currently available to our youngsters have either been decommissioned or are in a state of disrepair. The aim of P.L.A.Y. is to provide new recreational facilities, which is of paramount importance to children and young people in Woodcote and the surrounding villages.  They will provide a safe environment for children to play and exercise and will be suitable for all age ranges and abilities.The cost of the project is £128,574 and we now have 90% of the funds required.  As this is a local community enterprise we are appealing to local businesses to help with the final £17,000.  Any contributions will be gratefully received and we will do our utmost to ensure maximum publicity for your company.  The equipment will be installed in November, so we would be very grateful if you could give this your urgent attention.If you would like more information on the project or would like to see the designs and plans we would be delighted to go through them with you.  Please speak to Henrietta Harrison on 01491 684141 to arrange a time.
