  • Harrowbarrow & Metherell WI have a very full programme with speakers attending most meetings.  These meetings are held in the Harrowbarrow & Metherell Village Hall, School Road, Harrowbarrow on the 3rd Wednesday of every month except December.  Other activities include:  monthly craft days, walks, theatre trips and days away.  All women are welcome to attend a free taster meeting before joining the WI.  Membership for 2010 is £29.50  The president of the WI is Mrs Jenny Snuggs.  Vice Presidents:  Mrs Jean Miller and Mrs Jackie Scantlebury.  Secretary is Mrs Verona Davis and Treasurer is Mrs Jenny Voden.  For more information see notice boards or ring Membership Secretary  01579 351081 or e-mail her at jean@sunnyridge.demon.co.uk WI Mission Statement The WI offer opportunities for all women to enjoy friendship, to learn to widen their horizons,and together to influence, local, national and International affairs.
