  • The season commences on the 10th September 2006 and ends with our annual dinner on the 6th May 2007. We undertake training for the first four weeks and then have a mixture of training and Home and Away matches. For actual fixtures see our website Training timesJunior Section timings are as follows: Mini Team U7 & U8 10.30am -12.00pm Sunday Mornings Midi Teams U9, U10, U11 & U12 10.00am - 12.00pm Sunday Mornings Junior Teams U13 U14 U15  U16 10.00am - 12.00pm Sunday Mornings Colts undertake Training on the following eveningsMonday 1930 - 2130Wednesday 1930 - 2130The Colts matches take place on a Saturday and a list of fixtures can be seen on our web site We take boys and girls from 6 years old and teach them rugby in a safe and friendly environment. Girls and boys play mixed rugby up until the age of 12. We are developing teams for girls over 12 years of age over the coming season to provide a conduit for girls to play and eventually join the women's team.The RFU ContinuumThe Club adheres to the Rugby Football Unions Rugby Continuum. The purpose of which is viewed as a coaching pathway through which each youngster acquires, by general degrees, those skills required to participate in the full 15 aside game by the age of under 13. The emphasis must be geared towards the improvement of individual skills through purposeful and enjoyable activity. In order to allow for the testing of these skills in match situations, a limited number of competitive fixtures and festivals/tournaments maybe introduced.
