  • Mitcheldean Community Youth Club opens Thursday evenings between 7 and 9pm during termtime and some bank holidays.  The club uses the Village Hall on the recreation ground for a variety of activities both in, and outdoors, when the weather permits.It is run by volunteers who are always pleased to have offers to help supervise and generally ensure young people are safe.   Please don't let age or inexperience be a barrior.Current volunteers have undergone CRB checks, renewed every three years, and prospective volunteers would be invited to do likewise if they were to become regular helpers at the club.  If you are able to give any time 'whenever' please pop along on a Thursday evening and have a word with the leader Paul Harding or any volunteer.Volunteers wanting to take on training, for instance, First Aid, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene or youth related issues, may do so through organisations that offer free training during the year.Cheers Rita
