  • Kilsby is twinned with Hericy near Paris. One year we travel to France, the next year our French friends visit us here. We stay with our friends in their homes and are always made extremely welcome. The main activities of the weekend seem to revolve around eating and drinking! But we manage to see some of the sights too. It's great fun and YOU DON'T NEED TO SPEAK FRENCH to take part. When the French come here they expect to be treated like part of the family  -no gourmet cooking or designer bedrooms. They just want to experience ordinary English life. Twinning is also a good way to get to know more people locally. We have lots of social events in the vilage and also link up with other twinning associations. Families  are particularly welcome to join - there are several French families with children who woud like to meet other families. We also welcome new members from nearby villages, you don't need to live in Kilsby.
