  • MrD Community Solutions is based within the Claremont Ward of Salford, Manchester.It is a Community Interest  Company and is managed by a committee made up of local residents.MrD was created following remarks by local people within community groups about the lack of a central point of contact for home security and safety issues.  Salford has many companies more than willing to fit cheap home safety devices, but there doesn't appear to be any that are willing to take a hands on approach and actually get involved with the community beyond the £££ signs.What makes MrD different is that it aims to supply the highest quality products and service, whilst subsidizing all the work that it undertakes within the community. MrD will then upgrade, maintain and look after its client base at little or no further cost to the end user.MrD provides the following services to the Salford Area:       *  Wirefree alarm systems.   Also proving, Carbon Monoxide, Fire, Flood and Low Temperature warnings.                                                 And giving 2 way communication either to a family member or monitoring station                                                 via a wearable panic button.       *  Home automation.            Making life simpler for elderly or those with disabilities.                                                   Giving control of domestic appliances & lighting via hand held remote control,                                                 pre programmed times or remotely via telephone link.       *  Home CCTV kits.               Professional security cameras and Digital Video Recording (DVR).  Small, discreet                                                  and easy to use.  Records non stop with no tapes.       *  Property Marking              Using engraving, ultra violet markers, holographic non removable stickers,                                                  asset recording.       *  Lock & Key Security          Supplementary Window and door
