  •  At the moment the youth club is not open on Thursday nights as the building that it has run from is not up to Health And Safety standards.However the youth in the village have very little to occupy there time. Every Thursday night Detached Youth Workers from Medway Council out and about the village. They talk to young people and discuss what they want and what the youth can try and do to change things.At the moment we are training up a group of young people who are the Grain Youth Committee. It will be their role to talk to other young people in the village and take back to the Parish Council what the young people are saying. One of the things that they are in the process of organising is some fundraising for the 'Pavillion' where the club used to be held. They will be doing this by fundraising at the village fete/carnival in July.Please come along and show your support.Karen YusufDetached Team
