In June 2007 the Club obtained a runner up place in the Everyday Impact category in the Directory of Social Change Awards. The award was presented by Ed Milliband, the then Minister for the Voluntary Sector at Central Hall, Westminster. To receive this national Award means a great deal for all at the Club.

Other activities provided by the Club: Craft sessions twice monthly, assisted shopping twice monthly, trips to theatres, summer outings, musical entertainment, Christmas Lunch and other parties. We have now developed New Age Kurling sessions every Wednesday mornings. Come and join us....you do not need to be a Club member to play.
