  • As a member of 1st Eccleshall Explorer Scout Unit you will join in a wide variety of activities and earn The Queen's Scout Award and The Duke of Edinburgh's Award.  These awards are "the practical A-levels" and compliment the accademic work at school.  They can help you obtain a university place, employment or join the army.There are no restrictions to membership: regardless of ability, faith or culture.  Everyone from 14 to 18 is welcome but we do expect everyone to make these committments.  You do not have to have been in Scouts before.We meet every Thursday evening and have many weekend activitiesAn Explorer Scout’s Commitment 1.
