  • PURLEY PATHFINDERS - a walking group for ladies� Started in May 1999, Purley Pathfinders has grown from strength to strength as ladies realise the enjoyment gained from walking in a 'safety in numbers' environment.� Walks are held on weekday mornings - a different day each week, and are mostly between 4 and 6 miles.� Many hold the chance to pre-order lunch to enjoy after the walk in a sociable setting.� Lifts are arranged from Purley Village to the start of each walk, which is more fun and means less pollution.� Apart from walks in our local area, three 'Specials' and a 'Birthday Trip' take place each year, taking us in to areas further afield by coach.� More details, including write-ups of walks, can be found on our web site� at www.purleypathfinders.co.uk
