  • Findern Footpaths GroupWe have improved our public rights of way and improved access to them by improving the surfaces of them, replaced bridges, installed duckboarding and installed land drainage. We have enhanced them by installing seats, planted wildflowers, trees and shrubs and by the erection of bird and bat boxes.We have also restored 2 overgrown ponds, created Stanhope Hole Conservation Area and planted our newly created wood, Stanhope Wood.We promote our rights of way and our countryside by conducting a series of guided walks, and we produce walks leaflets.
