Further Description
  • Our Group, located a few miles north of Stratford-upon-Avon, has in excess of seventy members with each of the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts sections being strongly represented. Our site is also ?home? to local Explorer and Network Groups too. Whilst the site is near to the villages of Bearley and Snitterfield, we have a wide catchment area, which includes Claverdon, Hatton and Norton Lindsey. The villages of Henley-in-Arden, Wootton Wawen and Wilmcote also provide many members for the Group. 4.1 acres of land surrounded by woodland provides an ideal setting for our hut. There is sufficient space for our current range of activities and it is more than adequate to allow us to realise our ambitious plans to improve the site?s accommodation and facilities. The Scout Association provides adventurous activities and personal development opportunities for 400,000 young people both boys and girls aged 6-25. Internationally, we have over 28 million young people enjoying the benefits of Scouting across 216 countries.
