Further Description
  • Tewkesbury Area PartnershipTewkesbury Area Partnership (TAP) is part of the Market and Coastal Towns Initiative (MCTi) that aims to regenerate areas that have been hit by the foot and mouth crisis. The Partnership is made up of residents, business people, voluntary organisations, local authority officers and community groups. The Partnership is open to anyone and people can be involved in a specific project area if they wish (ie Environment) or take part in a general way. After consultation with the community, TAP has produced an Action Plan for Tewkesbury. It is currently out in draft form for consultation and will be officially launched in September 2005. The Action Plan aims to cover issues that can be tackled now and long term issues that will take 10 to 20 years to complete. The Action Plan covers Economy, Tourism, Access to Services, Health, Community Safety, Environment, Leisure, Culture and the Arts, Transport and Communities. For more information about TAP, and to get a copy of the Action Plan, please contact Jo Worthy-Jones, 07940 0643345 or jw-j@tinyworld.co.uk
