  • Raveningham Country FairThe Raveningham Country Fair started in the eighties, (formerly known as the Threshing Fair). It is held annually at the beginning of September on a field close to the Raveningham Centre. The committee is made up of people from the area who meet throughout the year to organise and set up the fair, (and clear up afterwards!), and then distribute the funds raised amongst the Churches and organisations in the community. The fair is a wonderful event, plenty for all to enjoy. There are a variety of craft stalls, games for the children, (and those who have never grown up!), threshing machines and steam engines, a beer and tea tents, food stalls and a barbecue and entertainment throughout the day and into the evening. If you have never been to the Country Fair come this year and see what you have been missing! This year the fair will be held onSaturday 3rd SeptemberThe location is dependant on harvesting and is decided closer to the event. Watch out for posters and directions in August.
