Shelford Opera Group was formed in 1966under the musical direction of the late Mrs Mary Cullenwith the aim of providing a wider musical interestfor the Choir of St Marys Church.The first production, Trial by Jury, was considereda success and the rest is history.From the start, the group was keen to encourage younger singersand family groups to take part.Everyone enjoys the light-hearted atmosphereof our rehearsals and we are always on the look-out for new members.
