  • The Salthouse History group was formed to produce a village book and an exhibition to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the church and the 50th of the East Coast 1953 flood, in the year 2003. There was no entry fee and no regular meetings or lectures but the group together produced a very successful exhibition, and a book which was in the Jarrolds Best Seller list for three weeks running. It has now sold out, and the Website is carrying on the work of making the wealth of material available, and is also a great link for Salthouse people who have moved away and want to know about their ancestors.
