  • Affiliated to the University of the Third Age (U3A), the Dukeries Group serves members in the Worksop, Retford and Ollerton areas and surrounding villages.We meet monthly, as a group, at the Dukeries Complex, Ollerton. The main group is divided into a number of special interest groups who also meet monthly, sometimes at different locations.Interest groups include Local History, Bridge, Music Appreciation, Reading, Poetry and Stitchcraft. We also have a monthly Lunch Club and arrange holiday trips (via a travel company)Additional interest groups may be formed, in line with current members' interests. New members are always welcome. The annual subscription (2004) is a modest �6.00 per year. A charge of �1.00 is made for attendance at monthly meetings, where we normally have a one-hour talk on a topic of general interest.Why not visit us and consider becoming a regular member.Phone the contact number for more details.
