  • Clifton Local History Group was formed in 1981 with the purpose of studying the history of the parish and publishing our results. We have many publications on the village and on Newton and Brownsover.Currently were are researching village life during the Second World War. Any photographs of that period would be welcomed. If you have any that we could borrow please make contact with a member through our advert in the Post Office.Meetings are on the first Thusday of each month (except August) in the Townsend memorial Hall. Our next meeting is on 2 September 2004 about Roman Warwickshire. Everyone is welcome, you don't have to be a member!
