  • LIVES is a voluntary service designed to give a fast response to the local community. A 999 call for an ambulance involving the collapse of an adult in Metheringham, Dunston or Blankney, will generate another call to a local LIVES Responder, who should be on site well in advance of the ambulance. We will assess, advise and assist until the ambulance arrives, and can usually have a very positive effect on the situation and outcome.We are always looking for funds and fundraisers as we are self-funded, administrators to help organise the group, and we are always keen to encourage others to train and join us as Responders to provide a better coverage.Contact me (Russ McLuckie) in Dunston or Trevor Marsh (01526 321674) in Metheringham for more info.
