  • Some of you may have heard already that, sadly, Hintlesham and Chattisham WI, which was founded over 75yrs ago with more than 50 members, is to close at the end of this year.However, we have decided, by a total majority vote to "rise from the ashes" as the Tuesday Circle, with no particular ties to any organisation, religious or political, just as a related and friendly social club for mainly women, Men are, indeed, very welcome to meetings should the speakers subject for that night be of interest to them.The annual subscription will be �12. payable in January, with, as before, 25p entrance fee. For non-members the charge will be �2 per visit. We will continue to conduct our ever-popular raffle.We do hope we will attract some new, possibly younger members because we are a friendly lot who would welcome some fresh faces.The first meeting is on Tuesday 7th January, 2003 at 7.30p.m. in the Meeting Room of the Community Hall. Quest Speaker will Derek Thornbery, on Ghost Stores for a Winters Evening.The February meeting will be on the 4th when Hadleigh Beauty Salon will present beauty tips.
