  • ALSAGER COMPANY OF ARCHERSAn Archery Club, based in the town of Alsager on the South Cheshire border with Staffordshire, encouraging Recurve (Olympic) Bow, Compound Bow and the traditional Long Bow for all the family in a friendly, but competitive environment. The club has a reputation within the County for producing top class archers, both at Senior and Junior level, which have not only represented the County of Cheshire, but the represented the region and Great Britain at International Competition.Interested ? Well why don't you come on down to our Outdoor Shooting ground at Cranberry Lane Junior School Playing field where we shoot. It would be worth telephoning the Club's Secretary, Jill Denham on 01270-753156 to ensure one will be there to meet you and show you around. Normally newcomers to the sport go through a 4 week Beginner's Course costing approx �25 where you will be basic instruction in the art of Archery... all equipment is provided. The Club normally runs 4 courses a year, the first being in March/April at our Indoor Range in Sandbach. the remaining courses are outdoors at Cranberry Lane School in May, June and July. Check with the Secretary for further details and availability of places. Once the Course is complete and Archery if fot you them Annual memberships is approx �100.
