  • The CORE TrustCharity No: SC 031816The CORE was established to address the needs of communities both in the Uk and in developing countries.To achieve this, we work in partnership with those people and all concerned.Our aims are to set up sustainable projects using the people and the key players, Government, Business, Trusts/Charities and anyone that has an influence on the livelihoods, welfare and wellbeing of those people.Working with the people,we can access their needs to develop a sustainable infrastructure, with good health, education, welfare and work opportunites.CORE's role, to secure funding and provide a secure base for projects to develop. We provide training and support until we feel it is time to hand over to the people. Through our partner trusts, we have staff monitoring progress and able to assist should the need arise.CURRENT PROJECTSouth Africa's Orphan's of AIDSThe C.O.R.E. Trust is currently working in partnership with the E.R.I.C. Trust, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The project, set up an Out-reach programme and 'cluster villages' for orphaned children and their 'housemothers'. The housemothers are women from the local community who will act as foster parents for groups of six children, catering for their needs, as would a real mother. Our role is to access funding and provide training and support for this project.
