  • Gamlingay Players has been in existence for over 30 years. We first performed at the Village College then moved to the Community Centre when it opened some 20 years ago. Each year since we started we have put on two or three productions. We perform pantomimes regularly as well as serious plays, comedies and review evenings ? and we often have an evening of three one-act plays in addition to at least one full-length production a year.We currently have 20 adult members who act, help back-stage, help with sound and lighting, or front-of-house. We also have a very thriving younger members section currently with 26 enthusiastic youngsters aged 10 to 18.We rehearse or meet every Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm usually at the Community Centre. We always welcome new members. Anyone interested in any aspect of theatre ? acting, lighting, props, backstage ? would be most welcome.
