  • Situated just outside Bolton, Farnworth Little Theatre is an amateur group with charity status, which runs the theatre on box office takings, membership fees and charitable donations.FLT was established in 1948. The first full length play 'Night Must Fall' was presented in 1949. Since then it has given a continuous programme of up to five full length productions a year. We are a member of the Greater Manchester Drama Federation and also The Little Theatre Guild of Great Britain. Farnworth Little Theatre, near Bolton, Lancashire has hosted past members who have included:Actor Frank Finlay (Casanova, Bouquet of Barbed Wire)Playwright Jim Cartwright (The Rise and Fall of Little Voice)Actor Philip Lowrie (Coronation Street, Victoria Wood Show)Director Ian Hastings Manchester Royal Exchange, Bristol Vic)Farnworth produces 5 Plays during its September to June season.
