  • Catworth Village Hall Committee A group of representatives from user organisations and elected representatives who manage the day to day running of the Hall. Events that are run by the committee for the Village include:-Murder mystery eveningsVillage banquetsgames eveningsQuiz nightsJumble salesOrganisations that use the hall include:-The Bowls ClubWomen's InstituteSunday School for St LeonardsHistory SocietyParish CouncilPrivate bookingsthe Hall is used for private functions such as children's parties, band practice, needlework groups and model making. The Hall hosts the Community recycling centre with bins for paper, brown, green and clear glass and tin cans.Rates are competitive and reflect the Committees desire for the Hall to be as fully used as possible. Please contact us for details of availability and rates.Refurbishment ProjectThe committee has plans to refurbish the Hall and to reprovide the toilets and entrance lobby together with additional space that can be divided into a meeting room or used as part of the main Hall. this project will be subject to a lottery bid in the near future. In 2002 the external areas will be resurfaced to provide disabled access to the Hall. this work is funded from individual subscription, committee funds, Catworth Parish Council, and Waste Recycling Environmental (WREN).
