  • An active group that encourages community involvement in the Anglia in Bloom and Village of the Year competitions. Responsible for the Easter Egg Treasure hunt, the hanging basket competition, spring bulb planting, childrens painting competition, village spring clean and other crowd pullers. This group collects photos of village events that form part of the portfolio of village life over the year that is used for our entry to Anglia in Bloom. Catworth was Village of the Year for Cambridgeshire in 1998, and won a national award for help and support of young people in that year. Catworth has been in the medals for Anglia in Bloom's village category, including a Gold in 1997, and has also achieved good results for Community projects, with Gold in 1998 for the Bus shelter.
