  • Club premises are situated at Grange Farm Centre, Barsham, near Beccles, Suffolk - just south off the B1062 Beccles to Bungay road. Our main clubnight is weekly on Thursday evenings, from around seven-thirty. Some members also attend on most Tuesday evenings, usually from around eight. There are also open days when some trains will be running (when there are events such as Farmers Markets at Grange Farm Centre). Dates and times will be published on their Web site, www.dmfs.co.uk WVMRC has more than thirty members, working in the main scales and gauges, namely "N", "00" and "0".Members' interests range from 1960's East Coast Main Line to Mid- Suffolk Light Railway, LNER, Southern, GWR and LMS to industrial and American prototypes. The LNER (and its constituents and successors) has the strongest following. The periods range from pre-grouping to Modern Image. Models range from ready-to-run (straight from the box plus detailed or modified and weathered), to collectible, kit built and scratch built. We have continuous test tracks of around 100 feet, in gauges "0", "00" and "N" complete with controllers. There are workbenches with lighting and power points for around eight modellers.
