  • The Centre is established to promote any charitable purpose for the benefit of the community of Richmondshire. The Centre also houses Richmond Volunteer Bureau. The Bureau recruits and places volunteers including: drivers, gardeners, befrienders and DIY/painting & decorating volunteers. The Bureau contact is: Alison Metcalfe, Tel: 01748 822335.The Centre may be contacted on: 01748 822537.Richmondshire Volunteer Centre also has available a meeting/training room, which has disabled access and may be hired for as little as �5 per hour, with refreshements provided. A full days hire is �21.00.In addition, photocopying, typing, e-mail facilities may be used at very economical costs.It is free to become a member of Richmond Volunteer Centre and members are charged at a lower rate.Regular newsletters are dispatched which contain the latest funding information and other news concerning the Voluntary Sector.
