  • We, the Friends of Rescorla, have got together to save the now closed Methodist Chapel for the use of the village and as a research centre/archive workshop for the Cornish Audio Visual Archive (CAVA). There is a lot more on our website http://www.rescorla.org which has just been posted. We do need some financial help to purchase the building and to do the work needed to keep the building fit to use. The work entails some damp proofing and some inside work to provide some working space for researchers, plus some minor work. Your help would be much appreciated. We currently have an architect working on a feasibility study. We know its feasible but we need to have that officially confirmed. We hope to offer membership of the Friends of Rescorla very soon. Watch this space. We also have another website http://latis.ex.ac.uk you are very welcome to visit this site also.The Rescorla Christmas Knees Up will take place on Wednesday 19th December from 7.30 pm in the Methodist Chapel but we will be singing carols round the village from 6.30 pm. Your voice would be much appreciated.
