  • St. Hugh's Hospital is a modern purpose built facility, however, its foundations with the local communities of North and North East Lincolnshire go back over 60 years. The Hospital moved to its present site in Peaks Lane, Grimsby, 6 years ago, having been at its previous location in Princes Road, Cleethorpes, now St. Joseph's Nursing Home, since 1938. Originally founded by the Religious Order of St. Joseph of Peace the ownership and management of Hospital was taken over by a registered charity, The Hospital Management Trust in 1985. A non-profit organisation the Trust is dedicated to maintaining the ethical values of Independent Hospitals and Nursing Homes; it has a presence right across the United Kingdom.
