  • We have 35 members, both male and female varying in age from 30s to 70s. We hold a regular monthly meeting and additionally have fundraising and social activities. Membership is by invitation and depends upon prospective members joining in our activities prior to seeking to join.The emphasis of our activities is to serve people who are less fortunate than ourselves, such as elderly or disabled people, needy children and disadvantaged people and families. Our fundraising is required to support these activities. Approximately 80% of funds raised are spent in the local area, the remainder going to support Lions projects either nationally or internationally.We operate a Community Minibus which is available for hire and set up the Tandridge Lions Talking Newspaper which sends out weekly cassette tapes of local news and magazine items to 160 blind or partially sighted people in the Tandridge area.
